Brinlie was so cute in her little swimsuit--but then had her first skinny dipping experience later that same day. The first picture is at a warm pool that was not as nice or clean as the second pool--Champagne Pond. I guess this makes sense since the first was a public park and the second one we had to walk a mile through a gated community to find it. It was well worth the walk!

Brinlie in the Ocean

Helicopter ride
Just a few pictures of our fantastic helicopter ride over the lava flow on the Big Island. It was amazing to see all of the waterfalls and the damage that the lava causes. Even Brinlie got to go, even though she slept most of the time.

We're Baaaack!
Well, we made it back from Hawaii in one piece. Sadly, part way through the trip Scott got food poisoning from a bad Moolatte at DQ!!! So much for that "garbage disposal" stomach! Other than that, we had a great time introducing Brinlie to family, flying over the lava flow in a helicopter, swimming in a crystal clear, warm pool off of the ocean, etc. Not to mention, eating tons of food that is really bad for you!

Visit from Aunt Lois
This past weekend Brinlie's Aunt Lois came to visit! She was all smiles and loved having someone else to look at, besides Mommy and Daddy!

6 month stats!
We had Brinlie's 6 month dr. appt. today. She's officially a REALLY small baby---all except for her head, that is. Today Brinlie weighed in at 12 lbs 5 oz. (3rd percentile), 24.5 inches (again 3rd percentile) and her head was in the 59th percentile! That was a big jump for her. She got 3 shots and I'm hoping she's not too cranky from them later today. Right now she's resting peacefully in her crib.
