New Tricks!

Today we were doing a little "dress rehearsal" before I took Brin to get her 6 month pics done since Daddy couldn't come with us. After I dressed her, I had her stand up by the bed. She is seriously standing up against the bed, unassisted! Who knew she was capable of standing before crawling, rolling over both ways or sitting?

Not "Happy" Friday--"Help me!" Friday

Well, we knew it would happen eventually. Brinlie is officially sick with her first cold. Her poor little nose is running, her eyes are red and watering, sneezing and a cough. She's even been waking herself up from coughing so much, only to puke all over herself, her bedding, whoever's holding her, etc. Yep, it's been a fun night and day to say the least. But, in true Brinlie fashion, she still manages to give me cute little smiles here and there.

Gotta love that girl! Wish us luck as we trudge through this weekend!

Tummy time

Our poor, neglected little dogs think that if they just get between us and Brinlie, they have a chance of getting some attention. A few nights ago Brin was getting some tummy time, when Mocha decided she could do tummy time too. I know, they're pathetic! Mocha sharing Brinlie's blanket and tummy time.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Yesterday Brinlie received her Valentine's package from GM & GP W. Inside were 3 cute outfits and a penguin teether! (Perfect, since her dad is a penguin!) Here are a few pics of Brin in her Valentine's outfits!

Superbowl attire

For those of you who don't know, I'm a Denver Broncos fan and Brinlie's Daddy is an Oakland Raiders fan--opposites attract I guess. So, during the Superbowl I decided it would be funny to put Brinlie in her Denver Broncos cheerleader outfit to see what her Daddy would do. Wouldn't you know it, he refused to even hold her while she was wearing this outfit! I guess I need an Oakland Raiders cheerleader outfit so he'll hold her all the time!

Most of the time Mommy is the one to give Brin her nightly bath. Last night it was Daddy's turn. Doesn't he look cute with the little "towel apron" on? I just love the pictures of Brin with her Daddy--the two loves of my life!

Brinlie really enjoys playing on her Ocean Wonders playmat that Gayle and Tami gave to her. Lately she's been not only kicking the ball, but catching it and holding it!
