Crazy Colorado weather and beautiful mountains in the background.During the past few months Brinlie has insisted that her Little Mermaid ball was a "soccer ball" as she kicked it all over our house. Even at MyGym she was drawn to and loved kicking the soccer balls all around. Many people have commented on how straight she could kick the ball and that she was showing some natural talent. This Easter the Easter bunny decided to bring her an authentic, real soccer ball that was just her size. The next weekend when Aunt Lois was visiting, we decided to go play at the neighborhood park and practice our soccer skills. We're still trying to figure out how to upload video so you can see for yourself her mad soccer skills! I think her daddy would prefer to be a soccer girl over a cheerleader==less boys to deal with?! Who knows what the future holds!

That's so fun! I can't blame her daddy for prefering soccor...it also seems safer to me than being thrown into the air by teenage girls :)
When I was younger I played AYSO soccer for 7 years until I hurt my ankle permanently. I gained an interest for soccer in 4th grade, I really wished I could had made all stars and played for High School and possibly College. If you ask me, if she has interest in it and enjoys it, RUN with it! That's so cool that she's able to find something she really loves at such an early age. What a CUTE little girl.
