Estes Park

Nosker family at the Willauer wedding.
Beautiful bride Tami and myself.
Rocky Mtn. National Park.

Last weekend we took a trip up to Estes Park for Tami and Chris' wedding. We'd never been there, but had heard many things about it. It's a quaint little town that I definitely will visit again. It's absolutely beautiful and you can't help but relax while you're there. Unfortunately I got sick while we were there and had to cut our trip short.

A Visit to the Aquarium

A few weeks ago we took a trip up to Denver to visit the aquarium with our friends the McCallisters. We all had a great time. The girls especially liked seeing all of the different types of fish and sea life. Afterwards we had a great dinner at the Cheesecake Factory! YUM! We can't wait to go again--maybe when Grayson can thoroughly enjoy the views too!

May Adventures

Brinlie and Grayson hanging out on Mother's Day. I'm so blessed!
Aunt Lois' graduation in Las Vegas, NV.
Brinlie helping Daddy plant seeds for our garden. Notice the huge bandage on her chin that was the result of falling in the driveway. Fortunately no stitches were needed!
Grayson on his first horse ride with Grandpa W. He really seemed to enjoy it!

May was quite the busy month for us with two trips out of state. The first was to Las Vegas to celebrate Aunt Lois' graduation from Medical School! Grayson did great on his first plane ride and Brinlie was full of energy the entire trip. She loved staying up wayyyyyy tooooo late and visiting with all of the family. We spent time at the pool which both kids really enjoyed as well. Two weeks later we flew to UT for Grandma W's birthday and for the rest of the extended family to meet Grayson for the first time. We saw lots of family and celebrated with a big BBQ on Memorial Day. Both kids rode Grandpa's horse and he was thrilled! Brinlie also loved playing with her cousins on the huge swingset and spent many hours running up and sliding down the slides.

Future Soccer Star?

Playing at the neighborhood playground with Aunt Lois.

Crazy Colorado weather and beautiful mountains in the background.

During the past few months Brinlie has insisted that her Little Mermaid ball was a "soccer ball" as she kicked it all over our house. Even at MyGym she was drawn to and loved kicking the soccer balls all around. Many people have commented on how straight she could kick the ball and that she was showing some natural talent. This Easter the Easter bunny decided to bring her an authentic, real soccer ball that was just her size. The next weekend when Aunt Lois was visiting, we decided to go play at the neighborhood park and practice our soccer skills. We're still trying to figure out how to upload video so you can see for yourself her mad soccer skills! I think her daddy would prefer to be a soccer girl over a cheerleader==less boys to deal with?! Who knows what the future holds!

Easter

Nosker family on Easter 2010.

For Easter this year we got to enjoy spending it with Mommy's side of the family. Even Uncle Brenden flew over to spend the holiday with us and meet his new nephew! Jade and Grandma & Grandpa W. drove over from UT for the weekend. The time went by way too fast, but we made sure every moment was filled! Brin and Jade loved playing in her kitchen, dyeing and hiding eggs, and just being silly little girls!

Melt my Mommy heart!

It's moments like these that just melt my little mommy heart and make all the chaos worthwhile. I certainly hope we have many, many more!!

Grayson's here!

Just a few minutes old.
Happy family of four!
New addition to the Nosker family. We just need Aunt Lois.

Grayson Kiyoshi is finally here. OK, not finally, he was actually 4 weeks early. That was a little scary, but overall he's doing great. He did have jaundice and had to have blood tests and a special light bed to sleep on. However, he's quite the eater and was back to his birth weight by 5 days old. We were all very curious to what/who he would look like. It's mostly been said that he looks like Brinlie. We've survived the first week and look forward to things just getting better and better. Brinlie loves her little brother and enjoys giving him lots of kisses (on top of his head, of course).
